After Earl

8x10 Oil on Canvas SOLD

The waves and the sky, after hurricane Earl, were beautiful here on the
coast of Maine. The color of the ocean was also very unusual. I had a
great time using colors you don't often take out to paint the ocean.

Monhegan Beauty

5x5 Oil on Canvas 100.

This is one of the beautiful lobster boats that is moored in
the Monhegan Island harbor. In the afternoon the boats drift
around and catch the setting sun light. I could watch them
all afternoon.

Grounded

5x7 Oil on Canvas NFS

This is a boat I loved when kayaking on the Spurwink River.
It's on the low tide sand bar at Ram Island Farm.

I have been painting, in this heat, and not really happy with the
results until today. Here's to cooler weather!

I painted this study last spring when my Iris were in bloom.
They didn't last very long with all the rain we had.
